Our Approach

How MindView Trains Resilience

MindView connects mobile preparation, biometric-supported setup and immersive VR practice so users can rehearse coping and emotional regulation skills in context.

Training Beyond the Headset

MindView connects the training journey before, during and after VR. Mobile preparation and biometric-supported setup, including a connected bracelet where used, help establish context before the session. During supported sessions, physiological information and session data remain connected to the wider platform for review and follow-up, alongside mobile tools such as breathing, grounding and relaxation exercises.

Five Principles Behind the MindView Approach

1

CBT-Inspired Thought Reframing
Guided scenarios encourage users to notice unhelpful interpretations, consider alternatives and practise responding differently while the situation unfolds.

2

DBT-Inspired Emotional Regulation
Exercises draw on emotional regulation, distress-tolerance and mindfulness principles to give users practical techniques to apply while pressure is present.

3

Body Awareness and Regulation
Biometric-supported exercises help users notice physiological changes and practise techniques such as breathing, grounding and shifting attention during the training experience.

4

EMDR-Inspired Sensory Exercises
Selected exercises draw inspiration from visual, attentional and sensory techniques associated with EMDR, adapted for structured resilience practice rather than trauma processing or memory treatment.

5

Progressive Resilience Training
Scenarios use structured stages and increasing demands so users can practise coping and regulation skills across different levels of pressure.

Five Principles Behind the MindView Approach

MindView draws on established approaches used in resilience, trauma-informed practice and psychotherapy. We use those ideas to inform how training scenarios, exercises and cues are structured. MindView does not present these exercises as a substitute for CBT, DBT, EMDR or professional treatment.

The Training Goal

The goal is practical skill transfer. Users practise coping and emotional regulation skills inside structured scenarios while social, environmental or time pressure is still part of the experience.

MindView keeps preparation, immersive practice and session information connected around that process, creating a foundation for continuity and progress review.
